General FAQs:
No, most of our classes are mixed ability unless it says otherwise, making them suitable for beginners to those who have experience. We recommend beginners classes for those who are nervous about exercise, or have injuries or health conditions.
A reformer is a Pilates machine with a sliding platform know as the carriage, adjustable springs, straps and a footbar. It provides resistance for a full-body workout that builds strength, flexibility, and balance while supporting proper alignment and core engagement.
A fuse ladder is piece of pilates apparatus that combines features of the stall bars, pilate tower, resistance springs and pull up bars. It enables a wide range of exercises including strength training, flexibility, balance, climbing, hanging and mobility work.
We offer a variety of Pilates including Reformer, Fuse Ladder, Barre and Mat Pilates. We cater to all levels from beginners to advanced.
Pilates offers many benefits, primarily by improving core strength and improving posture, which helps to stabilise the body, making you less injury prone. Pilates improves body awareness, reduces stress, and contributes to overall physical well-being.
Joseph Pilates famously said that after ten classes you will feel the difference, 20 classes you will see the difference, and after 30 classes you will have a whole new body. So in short, the more you do, the better you get, but one class a week is 100% better than doing nothing.
Before & After Your First Class:
We recommend bringing a towel, a water bottle, and grippy socks. Our studio is a bag and shoe free zone. We don’t have lockers, so we encourage you to not bring bags, but we have small trays available for you to put keys, purses/wallets, and phones in during your class.
Comfortable, form-fitting workout clothes that allow for a full range of motion.
For your first class, we recommend arriving 10-15 minutes early to allow time to check-in, meet the instructor, and get familiar with the studio and equipment. If you are late for your class, your instructor reserves the right to not let you in.
We operate a 24hr cancellation policy, which is automated by our booking systems.
Cancellations after this time will unfortunately forfeit their class.
Pricing & Booking:
Please go to our ‘book now’ tab found at the top of our page. We offer a ‘pay as you go’ system, which allows you to book classes at your convenience, or you can opt to purchase a ‘membership’ that allows you to organise a recurring booking in a class of your choice.
